These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, tools, and services provided by ParseProof, LLC ("ParseProof," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.
These Terms contain important limitations, disclaimers, and obligations. Please read them carefully.
1. Overview of the Services
ParseProof provides resume and job-description analysis services ("ATS Receipts").
You may upload a resume and, optionally, a job description. Our system analyzes the documents and generates a report showing how an applicant tracking system ("ATS") may interpret your materials.
We do not guarantee job placement, interviews, callbacks, hiring outcomes, or any employment result. All outputs are informational tools to help you understand how automated systems may view your documents.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and located within the United States to use the Services.
By using the Services, you represent that:
- You have the legal right to upload the documents you provide,
- You are not violating any confidentiality, employment, or third-party restrictions, and
- You will comply with all applicable U.S. laws.
3. Payments and Billing
3.1 Payment Processing
Payments are handled securely by Stripe, our third-party payment processor.
ParseProof does not store full credit card numbers or banking details.
3.2 Pricing
Prices for Services are displayed at checkout and may change at any time before purchase.
3.3 Refund Policy
Because the Services involve automated processing of user-submitted documents and immediate generation of deliverables, purchases are generally non-refundable.
Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis only for:
- Duplicate charges,
- Technical failures where no receipt could be delivered, or
- Verified payment processing errors.

4. User Responsibilities
By using the Services, you agree that:
- You have permission to upload all documents you submit.
- You will not upload content that violates confidentiality, proprietary rights, or any law.
- You will not submit harmful code, attempt to interfere with our systems, or misuse the Services.
- You will not reverse-engineer, attempt to access backend systems, or circumvent payment requirements.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the materials you upload.
5. No Guarantee of Outcomes
ParseProof provides informational diagnostics only.
We do not make promises or guarantees regarding:
- Job offers
- Interviews
- Recruiter responses
- ATS outcomes
- Career advancement
- Hiring decisions made by any employer
Hiring processes vary widely, and ATS systems differ across organizations. The ATS Receipt reflects one standards-informed interpretation, not a prediction of any employer's decision.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, scoring logic, documentation, graphics, branding, and formats provided by ParseProof are our proprietary intellectual property.
You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view and use the ATS Receipt generated from your uploaded documents for your own job-search activities.
You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or commercially distribute ParseProof content,
- Resell or reuse any part of the scoring system,
- Train machine-learning models on ParseProof outputs,
- Use the Services to build competing products.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved by ParseProof, LLC.
7. Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by U.S. law:
- ParseProof is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- ParseProof is not liable for employment-related outcomes or decisions made by employers, ATS systems, or recruiters.
- Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service giving rise to the claim.
Your use of the Services is at your own risk.
8. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available."
We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy or reliability of outputs
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Document Handling and Data Practices
By using the Services, you acknowledge that:
- Your documents will be processed by third-party tools (including parsing providers, automation tools, cloud storage tools, and email services).
- These services support delivery of your ATS Receipt.
- Document retention practices are described in our Privacy Policy.
You should not upload documents containing sensitive personal information (e.g., SSNs, financial account numbers, medical information) unless necessary for your resume's typical format.
10. Modifications to the Services
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue the Services at any time.
We are not liable to you or any third party for such changes.
11. Account or Service Termination
We reserve the right to deny access or terminate use of the Services if:
- You violate these Terms,
- You misuse the platform, or
- Required by law or requested by government authorities.
Termination will not limit our right to pursue remedies (legal or equitable) for violations.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Colorado, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top.
Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
